About Me
We are transplants from rural Arizona, so obviously we are loving the excitement of the city. We like riding the Metro (okay, that's mainly the kids...), sight-seeing at the White House, going on adventures, and swimming at the Rec Center. So, obviously, life is good for the Virginia Lambsons.

Sunday, September 25, 2005 Our New Home
Hey, y'all! As Aaron says, our new place wasn't a fixer-upper until he got through with it. Ain't it the truth? We knocked down a few walls, then a built a few, renovated the downstairs half bath by installing wainscoting and a new pedestal sink, pulled up carpeting and chipped out ceramic tiles to lay some gorgeous bamboo flooring in the the living room and hall, replaced a banister with a half-wall, put up baseboards, built a HA-YUGE Ikea loft bed for T.D, tore down FUGLY wall paper borders in the kitchen and ALL bathrooms, and then repainted the entire place! Because we are CRAZY.
Anyhoos, we thought you might want to see what we've been working on the past few months, so here is a pictorial essay of our efforts. Keep in mind, we have not yet finished hanging pictures, curtains, etc. All righty then. Away we go! Welcome to our home:
This is a FULL- (not TWIN-) sized loft... HA-YUGE. 5 Comments:
